Usually LOVE Larry Brooks...but this was a bit bland. The "Epiphanies" were not as epiphan-ous as I'd hoped. :)Not extraordinary. If you've never read a book of any kind about an author's process or how they develop their craft, this would be a good
casual starting point. From there, I would go onto books like "Bird by Bird" by Anne Lamott or Stephen King's "On Writing" or "Stein on Writing" by Sol Stein for hard-core "epiphanies."

This was somewhat disappointing. Maybe my expectations were too high. An epiphany is something all writers are hoping for, but I got no ah-ha moments for me in reading about other writers' flashes of insight. I suspect this is a highly person thing, whether or not we identify with the authors presented.
